Saundra Buckingham Curry, EMBA – Co-founder and COO
Saundra B. Curry is the Co-founder and COO of BC Holdings, LLC. Prior to joining BC Holdings, Saundra spent over two decades in the financial services industry. During her journey, she was recognized for her many achievements in the areas of personal financial advisory, client satisfaction, sales and product development and financial strategic planning. She served as an accomplished, certified investment advisor for over two decades. Currently, Saundra is an authority in the personal financial arena and a personal financial educator.
Saundra is co-developer of Destination Financial Wellness (online financial wellness engagement platform), co-author of the award winning Financial Wellness Toolkit (comprehensive financial planning program), Exit Strategy (collegiate financial and post-graduate wellness planner), Student Financial Wellness Course (high school financial wellness program), Wealth Starter (financial software products), FinTips (monthly personal financial newsletter), and financial wellness blogger.
Over the span of her career, Saundra has established and served as an active board member and volunteer for several community organizations.
A native of Nashville, Saundra received a B.S. from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and earned an Executive MBA from Vanderbilt Owen School of Management. Saundra currently lives in Hendersonville, TN with her husband, Sidney. They have two children, Vilia, an actress/writer/producer in Los Angeles and Miles, a student at Columbia University in New York City. They attend The Temple Church in Nashville, TN.
Sidney T. Curry – Co-founder, President & CEO and Combat Veteran
Sidney Curry is the Co-founder, President and CEO for BC Holdings, LLC. He is an authority in the personal financial arena and has been a personal financial educator for nearly twenty years. Prior to joining BC Holdings, he enjoyed a successful career in entrepreneurship and sales consultancy in the restaurant and service industry as Managing Partner where he managed multi-million dollar budgets. Sidney also established and managed a service-focused training and development firm for multi-chain restaurants.

A native of Troy, Alabama, Sidney received a B.S. from Belmont University in Nashville, TN. He is a founding member and board member of several community boards in Middle Tennessee. Sidney is a service disabled, combat-veteran with eight total service years (active and reserve duty) serving during the Gulf War in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and Iraq with the 101st Airborne Infantry, Ft. Campbell, KY and the 1st Infantry Division Forward, Stuttgart, Germany.
Sidney currently lives in Hendersonville, TN with his lovely wife, Saundra. They have two children, Vilia, an actress/writer/producer in Los Angeles and Miles, a student at Columbia University in New York City. They attend The Temple Church in Nashville, TN.
Devecia McGlother – Office and Sales Assistant and Veteran
Devecia McGlother is our Office and Sales Assistant for BC Holdings of TN, LLC. She received her B.S. at Western Kentucky University in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising, all while maintaining her military career from 2013-2019. As an Army National Guard veteran, she has had the opportunity to work in various environments from the office, the classroom, 4H Camps, Drug Eradication, missions in Korea, Army NG Retention, supporting civilians in times of natural disasters and working in DFAC facilities across the US.
She served her country in Kentucky and California, retiring as a Sergeant/E-5. She now resides in her hometown of Nashville, TN where she will be continuing to grow with us here at BC Holdings of Tennessee.
Christine Nelis – Office and Sales Assistant
Christine Nelis is one of our Office and Sales Assistants at BC Holdings of TN, LLC. Christine has over 20 years of experience in the meetings, special events and conference industry and has proven success in sales, logistics, client relationships, training, and revenue analysis.
Christine is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant, Institutional Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
Jason Luntz – Media Product Development Manager
Jason Luntz is a new media strategist and the founder of UrVoyce, a small business that utilizes the creation of original content, multimedia projects, website design and social networks to help organizations build an online presence. Jason is also an adjunct professor in the communications department at Tennessee State University, where he teaches courses in entrepreneurship, public speaking, and online media.
Jason has been actively immersed in social media since 2008 when he began his career writing online for various blogs. This lead him to attend Full Sail University where he received his Master of Arts in New Media Journalism; a program that focused on telling stories by using accessible digital devices. He soon realized that he could leverage his understanding of how to use online tools to tell stories, to help others grow their presence on the internet. This eventually grew into a career that allowed Jason to give small companies and non-profits the same online marketing opportunities as their larger counterparts.
Besides running day to day operations of UrVoyce, Jason is also a highly sought-after speaker on social media and online branding topics and has presented in front of audiences throughout Middle Tennessee.
Vilia Steele – Client Services Manager
Vilia Steele is the Client Service Manager at BC Holdings Of TN, LLC. Vilia has been a team member of BCH for 5 years. At heart she is a thespian, writer, producer, visual artist, and an aspiring master gardener.
Vilia has used her innate talents to take BCH to the next level. In her free time, she volunteers to assist homeless communities and coaches aspiring actresses and actors in Los Angeles, CA. Vilia is a native of Nashville, TN and is currently teleworking from LA.
Leonard Tharpe – Division Manager, IT Solutions – Veteran
Leonard is the BCH Division Manager, Information Technology (IT) Solutions. His responsibilities include selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline an organization’s operations and to optimize their strategic benefits by designing and customizing technological systems and platforms to improve the customer experience. Leonard has over 35 years of experience in various areas of computer science and information technologies, serving in both technical and management positions. He served as President and CEO of Brandon Technology Consulting, Incorporated (BTC) from 2000 – 2017, a company he started. BTC provided Information Technology services to the Military Health Systems (Tricare), Department of Defense, Federal, State and Local governments and a wide range of commercial and non-profit organizations. Prior to BTC, Leonard worked for several information technology companies in the Washington D.C. area as a vice president, program manager, technical manager and consultant. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee and Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville. He also was an adjunct professor at Strayer University, Stratford University, and Tennessee State University, and an instructor for The Learning Tree, International. At each institution he taught a wide range of information technology courses. He also teaches computer coding classes for youths at Tech Adventurers Center (nonprofit) in Nashville, and is a mentor for tnAchieves, whose mission is to increase higher education scholarship opportunities for Tennessee high school students.
Leonard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Austin Peay State University in 1982. He later received a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the U. S. Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. He also attended the Dartmouth College Minority Business Executive Program. He recently completed the TN HIMSS/Belmont University Health Information Technology (HIT) Accelerator Certificate Program.
Leonard’s professional associations include the Nashville Technology Council (NTC), Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), The Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) and The Institute for Robotics Process Automation & Artificial Intelligence (IRPA AI).
Leonard served 20 years in the United States Army where he worked in the areas of information technology, acquisition/procurement and communications-electronics. His military assignments included The Pentagon where he served at the Army Office of the Chief Information Officer, and the Army Artificial Intelligence Center. He also served at the Army Information Systems Management Activity, and the Army Information Systems Support Group. His military awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, and Army Commendation Medal.
